DinoCap ("the App") is a document scanner application developed under the dkapps brand by LaunchGrid. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you sign up or log in (if account creation is required for cloud sync).
• Scanned documents: images captured via your device camera or imported from your gallery, along with the cropped/processed scan output.
• Device information: basic device data (model, OS version, camera permission status) for app performance and crash reporting.

How We Use Your Information

• To capture, crop, enhance, and export scanned documents as images or PDFs.
• To allow you to organise and access your scan history within the app.
• To enable cloud backup/sync of your scans, if you choose to enable this feature.
• To maintain and improve app stability and performance.

Data Storage & Security

Scanned documents are stored locally on your device by default. If cloud sync is enabled, documents are stored securely with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Data Sharing

We do not access, view, or sell the content of your scanned documents. Data is shared only:

• When you explicitly export or share a scanned document outside the app.
• With service providers strictly necessary to operate cloud backup, if enabled.
• If required by law.

Your Rights

You may delete individual scans or your entire scan history at any time directly within the app. You may request deletion of your account and any cloud-synced data by contacting us below.

Children's Privacy

DinoCap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
